Compared · September 2026
The Pattern writes about people better than almost anything else in this category. The two reasons people go shopping are that the paid side has grown into several separate purchases, and that you never get to see the astrology underneath the psychology.
The short answer
If what you love is being described accurately, stay with The Pattern. It is better at that than Origo is. Come to Origo if you want to see the chart and the transits that produced the reading, and keep one continuous thread instead of a fixed portrait.

Everything below was checked against a primary source in September 2026. Where we could not verify something, it is not on this page.
As of September 2026, the US App Store listing shows Go Deeper+ at $14.99 a month, $29.99 a quarter or $83.99 a year, and separately Connect+ at $24.99 a quarter for the dating side, plus one time add ons including custom profile slots at $9.99 to $19.99 and a Super Connect 3 pack at $8.99. None of that is hidden. It is just more moving parts than some people want.
This is the real structural difference and it is deliberate on their side. The Pattern translates your chart into psychological language and shows you the translation, not the source. You are told what a period will feel like, but not which transit is producing it. It makes the app wonderfully accessible, and it means you can use it for years without learning anything about your own chart.
The core content is a personality analysis plus periodic timing updates, rather than something that accumulates as you use it. The Pattern does now have an in app AI chat feature, so anyone still telling you it cannot talk back is working from old information.
Whether that chat carries memory from one session to the next is not something we could establish from any public source, so we are not going to assert it either way. What we can tell you is our own side, which you can check: Origo keeps your chart and your reading history in context between conversations.
Prices are what each storefront listed in the United States in September 2026. See the note at the bottom about pricing in your country.

A comparison page that finds no reason to choose the competitor is an advert, not a comparison. These are the real reasons to pick The Pattern.
Vega is the companion you talk to. She holds your full natal chart and your reading history in context, so the conversation continues instead of resetting. This is the whole reason Origo exists, and it is the thing none of the apps on this page do.
Placements, houses and aspects are computed from astronomy rather than guessed, and you can see the wheel. Tarot is read against the transits moving over your chart right now, not handed to you as a card with a caption.
$59.99 a year with a 7 day free trial, or $11.99 a month. That is the entire price list. Nothing is metered, there is no balance to top up, and no reading stops halfway to ask for money. Cancelling happens on Google Play's own subscriptions screen, which we do not control and cannot put a maze in front of.
Vega is an AI companion. We put that on the comparison page rather than in the small print, because in a category where that question is live, the app willing to answer it plainly is the one worth trusting. The astronomy underneath is exact either way.
Reasons not to pick us, from the people who built it.
Yes. The Pattern added an in app AI conversation feature, so any comparison claiming it cannot talk back is out of date. The honest difference is not whether it can hold a conversation, it is whether the conversation and your chart stay in context across sessions. That continuity is what Origo is built around.
As of September 2026 the US App Store lists Go Deeper+ at $14.99 a month, $29.99 a quarter or $83.99 a year, Connect+ at $24.99 a quarter, and one time add ons between $8.99 and $19.99. There appears to be more than one paid tier, so read the purchase screen carefully. Prices vary by country.
That is the main reason to pick it over The Pattern. Origo computes your real natal chart from astronomy and shows you the wheel, the placements, the houses and the aspects, and it shows you which transits are live right now. Vega will explain why a reading says what it says, which is the part The Pattern deliberately keeps behind the translation.
No. Origo has no relationship compatibility feature and no way to add another person. If Bonds is why you opened The Pattern, Origo is not a replacement.
Not yet. Origo is Android only and there is no iPhone version today.
Same standard of evidence, same willingness to tell you to buy the other one.
Origo is live on Android. Try it free for 7 days. If it is not for you, cancel in two taps and we will not chase you.
