SoulSync

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 June 2026

SoulSync (com.raeduslabs.soulsync) is published by Raedus Labs (ABN 93 731 256 708), operated by Astraedus. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.

The short version

SoulSync stores all your data locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. There is no account. There is no tracking. There is no advertising. We do not collect any personal information.

Data collection

We collect nothing.

SoulSync does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All mood entries, journal notes, photos, and settings are stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Nothing leaves your phone.

The app has no internet permission for user data. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising library, and no third-party service integration.

Permissions

SoulSync requests the following device permissions:

  • Notifications to send you a daily reminder at the time you choose in Settings. You can disable this at any time in your device's notification settings or inside the app.
  • Photos / media storage only if you choose to attach a photo to a journal entry. The app uses your device's system photo picker; it does not have broad access to your photo library. Photos you attach are copied to the app's private storage on your device and never uploaded anywhere.
  • Boot completed to re-arm your daily reminder after your device restarts.

No other permissions are requested. No location, no contacts, no microphone, no camera direct access.

Data you create

Everything you log — mood scores, notes, activities, photos — belongs to you and stays on your device.

You can export all your data as a JSON file at any time from the Settings screen. You can delete individual entries, clear all data, or reset the database entirely from Settings.

If you uninstall the app, all app data is removed from your device by the standard Android uninstall process.

Children

SoulSync is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. If you are under 13, please do not use this app.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change in a future version, this policy will be updated and the effective date will be changed. Given that the app is 100% local by design, any change that introduced data collection would be a fundamental shift in the product — we don't plan for that.

Open source

SoulSync is open source under the GPL-3.0 license. You can read the full source code, verify the privacy claims, or run your own build at:
