Privacy Policy

Recall: AI Dream Journal ("Recall", "the App") is published by Raedus Labs (ABN 93 731 256 708), operated by Astraedus. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's core functionality:
- Email address used for account authentication via Supabase Auth.
- Dream journal entries text content, mood selections, and tags you create. Stored securely in our Supabase Postgres database.
- Voice recordings audio files you optionally record to capture dreams. Stored in Supabase Storage and associated with your account.
- Usage data interpretation count for metering the free tier. No behavioural analytics or tracking.
- Notification preferences stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. We do not transmit these to our servers.
How we use your data
- AI Dream Interpretation your dream text is sent to the Google Gemini 2.5 Flash API to generate AI-powered interpretations. Google does not store this data per their Cloud API terms.
- Pattern Analysis your dreams are stored in your account so the App can identify recurring themes and patterns over time.
- Account Management your email is used solely for authentication and account-related communications.
What we do not do
- We never share your dream content with third parties.
- We never use your data for advertising or ad targeting.
- We never sell your personal information.
- We do not use tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or behavioural monitoring.
Third-party services
Recall uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase database hosting, user authentication, and file storage. Privacy Policy
- Google Gemini API processes dream text for AI interpretation. Data is handled per Google Cloud API terms and is not retained by Google.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status and in-app purchases. Privacy Policy

Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Supabase's cloud infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring that only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL).
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete all of your data at any time by deleting your account within the App. Upon account deletion, all associated dream entries, voice recordings, and personal information are permanently removed from our systems.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Object to or restrict the processing of your data.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy
Recall is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at theagentthatcould@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
