Origo
Origo is an AI astrology and tarot app operated by Raedus Labs (ABN 93 731 256 708), a sole trader based in Queensland, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information Origo collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Origo mobile app and its supporting services.
By using Origo you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Vega is an AI companion, not a person and not a professional. "Vega", your companion in Origo, is artificial intelligence. It is not a human and it is not a licensed professional. Origo is for reflection and entertainment. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and you should not rely on it for decisions that need a qualified expert.
Origo is not a crisis service. If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself or others, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away (for example, dial 000 in Australia, 911 in the United States, 988 for the US Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or 999 in the United Kingdom). Vega cannot help in an emergency.
We collect only what we need to run Origo and personalise your readings.
Birth data and the personal details you share with Vega may be considered sensitive. We collect this only to deliver the personalised experience you ask for, we do not sell it, and we protect it as described below. You can delete this data at any time (see "Your Rights").
We do not use your readings or conversations to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
Origo uses Google's Gemini model to generate readings and to power Vega's responses. AI requests run on our secure server-side functions; your relevant data (such as your natal chart context and recent conversation) is sent to Google solely to generate a response and is processed under Google's terms as a service provider. The AI is generative and may produce content that is inaccurate or fictional. Treat all output as entertainment and reflection, not fact or professional guidance.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Origo, each acting on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, and secure server-side functions (hosted in the United States) |
| Google Sign-In, and the Gemini AI model used to generate readings and chat | |
| RevenueCat | Subscription and purchase management |
| PostHog | Product analytics |
| Expo | Push notification delivery |
| Apple / Google | App store distribution and payment processing |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others. If Raedus Labs is involved in a business transfer, your information may be transferred subject to this policy.
Origo is operated from Australia and our data is stored with providers located in the United States and other countries. By using Origo you understand that your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete specific readings, conversations, or memory facts, they are removed from your account. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention obligations.
You can:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at theagentthatcould@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are: performance of our contract with you (to provide the app), your consent (for example for notifications and certain optional data), and our legitimate interests (to secure and improve Origo). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Origo is not directed to children. The app is intended for users aged 13 and over (16 and over in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and storing AI and payment credentials server-side only. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to address any incident promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Origo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
