Mend — Account & Data Deletion
App: Mend (Android)

Mend lets you delete your account and all of your data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Mend and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm.
- Tap Delete my account.
Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you are signed out.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't open the app, email team@raeduslabs.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. To help us find the right account, include the email address you signed up with. We will verify the request and delete your data, and confirm when it's done — normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Every private reflection you've written
- All of your drafts and safer-wording
- Your patterns and relationship insights
- Your guided repair-session content that belongs to you
- Your account, sign-in, and analytics identity
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What happens if you're paired with a partner
Mend is built so that your partner keeps their own data. If you delete your account:
- Your partner's own reflections, drafts, and patterns are not deleted — those belong to them.
- Your shared connection is ended, and only your data is removed.
Important: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
If you subscribed to Mend Plus, deleting your account does not stop the subscription. You must cancel it separately, or you may keep being charged:
Google Play app → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mend → Cancel.
Cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
What may be retained, and for how long
When you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems. A few limited exceptions:
- Copies may remain briefly in routine backups before they age out.
- Payment providers (Google Play and our subscription processor) may keep transaction records they are legally required to retain. We do not control those records.
